Western blot - ABCG1 antibody (ab36969)
All lanes : Anti-ABCG1 antibody (ab36969)
Lane 1 : Positive ABCG1 control detected in mouse peritoneal macrophages (40 µg)
Lane 2 : 10 µM 22-(R)-hydocholesterol treated mouse peritoneal macrophages (40 µg)
Lane 3 : 100 nM TO901713 (LXRa ligand) treated mouse peritoneal macrophages (40 µg)
Lane 4 : 500 nM TO91713 (LXRa ligand) treated mouse peritoneal macrophages (40 µg)
developed using the ECL technique
Predicted band size : 76 kDa
Observed band size : 90 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
Additional bands at : 60 kDa (possible non-specific binding).
For all lanes, mouse peritoneal macrophages (40 µg) was used as the positive control.
