Western blot - ADAM1 antibody (ab65878)
All lanes : Anti-ADAM1 antibody (ab65878) at 1/5000 dilution
Lane 1 : mouse epididymis lysate at 15 µl
Lane 2 : mouse epididymis lysate at 10 µl
Lane 3 : mouse epididymis lysate at 5 µl
Lane 4 : mouse testicle lysate at 15 µl
Lane 5 : mouse testicle lysate at 10 µl
Lane 6 : mouse testicle lysate at 5 µl
Predicted band size : 87 kDa
Observed band size : 95 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
Additional bands at : 100 kDa,36 kDa,45 kDa (possible cleavage fragment),55 kDa,66 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.
ADAM1 alpha is reported to run at 100 kDa on SDS PAGE gels and is processed to a 48 kDa form.
