Question 1

Tuesday 25-October-2011

What are the immunogen sequences used to produce ab39157 and ab39158?

ANSWER:

The ab39157 epitope is within the propeptide domain of Xenopus ADAM-13. The propeptide domain runs from residues 34-155. The epitope for the ab39158 is at the carboxyterminal end of the molecule.

I hope this is helpful. Please contact me again if you have any further questions.

Question 2

Thursday 20-October-2011

What are the immunogen sequences used to produce ab39157 and ab39158?

ANSWER:

The ab39157 antibody epitope is within the propeptide domain, which is defined as residues 30-74 of the human sequence. The antibody recognizes the latent form of ADAMTS-13, and the shed propeptide domain, but not the mature ADAMTS-13. ab39158 reacts to the mature form of the protein, which starts at residue 75, and both recognize the catalytic domain, which is defined as residues 80-286. ab39158 will detect latent and mature ADAMTS-13.

I hope this is helpful. Please contact us again if you have any further questions.
