According to your data sheet, the anti-SSeCKs Ab should recognise a single 172 kDa product, but the references you cite mention at least three bands: a 290/280 kDa doublet and a 240 kDa band for various rat tissues. In addition, the antibodies used in these papers are raised in rabbits, whereas yours is a goat IgG. Can you explain these discrepancies?

Thank you for your enquiry regarding ab10356. The references on the datasheet are general background references and indeed have not used ab10356. We currently are not aware of publications which have used this antibody. We have added the predicted molecular weight of this protein as 172 kDa as described on SwissProt, rather than the detected band as we currently do not have this information from the source of ab10346. Unfortunately as I cannot access the general publications I am unable to find out why there are multiple bands detected by the rabbit polyclonals.
