- RelevanceVacuolar ATPase (V ATPase) is a heteromultimeric enzyme composed of a peripheral catalytic V1 complex (components A to H) attached to an integral membrane V0 proton pore complex (components: a, c, c', c'' and d). It is responsible for acidifying a variety of intracellular organelles in eukaryotic cells. ATP6V0D2 is a component of the integral membrane V0 complex of vacuolar ATPase and may have a role in coupling of proton transport and ATP hydrolysis. ATP6V0D2 may be involved in regulation of osteoclast fusion and bone formation.

ab87059 staining ATP6V0D2 in Rat enamel tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-P - paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections). Tissue was fixed with paraformaldehyde and blocked with 2.5% serum for 30 minutes at 22°C. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/30 in 1% BSA/0.5% Triton x100 in PBS) for 18 hours at 4°C. An undiluted HRP-conjugated Goat anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal (1/250) was used as the secondary antibody.
