I would like to know more about the ACR-2 "acrosin antibody" for swine. For immunohistochemistry, I just wanted to confirm that this MAb labels INTERNAL antigen, correct?, so that permeabilization would be needed prior to MAb labeling with this antibody? I am actually looking for an antibody that would label an external antigen on mature and immature sperm to be used in an affinity chromatography column (eg. an antibody that would bind all sperm, but allow wbcs to pass through). Any ideas? |

Thank you for your enquiry. Ab1900 has been tested for application in Immunocytochemistry and Western blotting, and yes, to use it in ICC membrane permeabilization (with acetone) is essential. I'm not aware of an antibody that would bind all sperm, but allow wbcs to pass through. You may want to try using "The World's Antibody Gateway".
