Has the activity of Angiopoietin 1 protein (ab69492) been tried in rats?

I can confirm that ab69492 is an active human Angiopoietin 1 protein that showed biological activity determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC).

The activity of this protein was not tested with rat derived cells and I cannot speculate about the outcome of such an experiment.

But I would like to let you know that the homology between human and rat Angiopoietin 1 is 96%.
