Also, is it available that these ab’s and reagents are delivered in smaller packages?

We do not provide expiry dates as such. For antibodies, we recommend they can be stored up to 1 year after delivery under the storage conditions stated on the datasheet.

For kits, we recommend 6months after delivery.

Please note our guarantee for all products is for 6 months after purchase.

Kindly advise the exact concentration of Antibody Diluent (ab64211) as desired by the customer, since on its datasheetthe concentration is mentioned as 125ml at mg/ml.

Unfortunately, this is a mistake in the datasheet that is IT related. This product has no concentration per se.

Antibody diluent is prepared for use in immunochemical procedures and antibodies can be diluted directly in this reagent.

The formulation of this diluent is the following:

1% BSA, PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.05% Sodium Azide as a preservative.

Dear abcam I’m currently looking for a stable antibody diluent for our automatic immunostainer. We need a diluent to be stable overnight in room temperature since we are planning to load up the stainer at the end of the work day for a delay schedule staining. How long does your antibody diluent (ab64211) can be kept in room temperature and be able to keep stable? Thanks

Thank you for contacting us. We do not have any experimental data regarding the stability of our Antibody Diluent at room temperature, as our storage recommendation for this product is at 4C. In-house we have prepared our working antibody solutions in the morning and they are left at room temperature for 4-6 hrs until application to the slide and no stability issues have been seen with those particular antibodies; however I cannot guarantee that it would be stable overnight for your application.
