    Background

atT-20 cells are corticotroph and are derived from a neuroendocrine tumor, which endogenously expresses two distinct somatostatin receptor subtypes (SRIF). They are used in transfection studies to investigate endocrine and exocrine secretory pathways, in particular ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone) and beta-endorphin.

    Applications

    Application notes

Extracts have been quality control tested by Western blot and the Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay (EMSA).

    Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
