Applications

Show applications key

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab56558 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application notes

WB: Use at a dilution 1/500 - 1/1000. Detects a band of approximately 40 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 45 kDa).

This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.

Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Target

Function

Responsible for the synthesis of complex-type N-linked oligosaccharides in many glycoproteins as well as the carbohydrate moieties of glycolipids.

Tissue specificity

Ubiquitously expressed.

Pathway

Protein modification; protein glycosylation.

Sequence similarities

Belongs to the glycosyltransferase 7 family.

Cellular localization

Golgi apparatus > Golgi stack membrane. Trans cisternae of Golgi stack.
