Recommended dilutions
WB: Use at a dilution 1/500 - 1/1000. Detects a band of approximately 40 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 45 kDa).
This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

B4GALT5 (UDP-Gal:betaGlcNAc beta 1,4- galactosyltransferase, polypeptide 5) is a type II membrane-bound glycoprotein that appears to have exclusive specificity for the donor substrate UDP-galactose. It transfers galactose in a beta1,4 linkage to acceptor sugars and is involved in the synthesis of complex-type N-linked oligosaccharides in many glycoproteins.
