BMP7 protein
See all BMP7 products (7) ...
Recombinant full length protein (Human), a monomeric, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 139 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 16kDa. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be S-T-G-S-K.
E. coli
>95% by SDS-PAGE
Purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Lyophilised:
Reconstitute the lyophilized BMP7 in sterile 20mM Acetic Acid, to not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Store at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). Aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
Preservative: None
Constituents: 10mM Sodium citrate, pH 3.5

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab55315 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
SDS-PAGE: Use at an assay dependent dilution.
Induces cartilage and bone formation. May be the osteoinductive factor responsible for the phenomenon of epithelial osteogenesis. Plays a role in calcium regulation and bone homeostasis.
Expressed in the kidney and bladder. Lower levels seen in the brain.
Belongs to the TGF-beta family.
Expressed in the developing eye, brain and ear during embryogenesis.
Several N-termini starting at positions 293, 300, 315 and 316 have been identified by direct sequencing resulting in secretion of different mature forms (PubMed:17977014).
Secreted.
