Since the field has tried several antibodies already to use in clean Westerns against mouse Brca2, I was wondering whether you could provide me with an example Western of this antibody against mouse Brca2. Also, if available, I would like to know the exact peptide against which it is raised, or, at least, the homology between mouse-human of the immunogen.

ANSWER:

  

I have just received feedback from the originator of ab27976 and was informed that the western blot was done with a mouse cell line SV-T2 lysate, we do not have an image currently. The homology of the immunogen between human and mouse is ~77%.
