This technique involves the sequential incubation of the specimen with an unconjugated primary antibody specific to the target antigen, a biotinylated secondary antibody which reacts with the primary antibody, enzyme labeled streptavidin, and substrate chromogen.

    How is this antibody biotinylated? Is it biotinylated at just the N terminus, at all amines, or other? Is the ratio of bitoin to antibody known? If not can you at least provide an estimate? What is the concentration of the antibody?
