I can confirm that ab3358Blood Group Lewis x antibody [P12] is sold as tissue culture supernatant. I have requested that the datasheetisupdated so thisinformation is clearer. Unpurified antibodies, such as those sold as whole antiserum, ascites or tissue culture supernatant will not have a concentration stated on the datasheet. Antibody concentration is usually determined by protein assay,and tissue culture supernatant will contain a lot of other proteins, which means the antibody quantification would not be accurate.

I can confirm that for this particular product, theconcentration is estimated at 10-50ug/ml.

Was this antibody purified from ascites or tissue culture supernatant? What is the concentration?

Thank you for your enquiry. This antibody is tissue culture supernatant concentrated by ammonium sulfate precipitation.

The concentration of our last lot was 180 ug/ml. We don't currently have any stock of this antibody, so the concentration may change with new stock.
