Overview

  • General notesAfter excision, tissue was fixed in paraformaldehyde and processed to paraffin wax. Tissue sections were cut to a thickness of 5µm and mounted on positively charged glass slides. One tissue from each lot was stained by haematoxylin and eosin (H+E) and then microscopically examined to ensure quality. All tissue is examined / diagnosed by a licensed pathologist and is ethically obtained.

    Customer's question concerning ab4604: I am interested at looking at the expression of a particular target in the hypothalamus. In which plane are the brain sections cut? Do they all contain the hypothalamus? Thanks in advance for your help!

    The brain section is a whole brain section and cut horizontally . But we can not guarantee the hypothalamus is included.
