| Application | Notes |
|---|---|
| ICC/IF | ICC/IF: Use a concentration of 1 - 4 µg/ml. Fixation/Permeabilization: PFA/Triton X-100 |
| WB | WB: 1/250 - 1/500. |
| IHC-P | IHC-P: 1/20 - 1/50. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol. Use buffer at pH 6 for antigen retrieval. |
Target
- FunctionComponent of the SOSS complex, a multiprotein complex that functions downstream of the MRN complex to promote DNA repair and G2/M checkpoint. The SOSS complex associates with single-stranded DNA at DNA lesions and influences diverse endpoints in the cellular DNA damage response including cell-cycle checkpoint activation, recombinational repair and maintenance of genomic stability. Required for efficient homologous recombination-dependent repair of double-strand breaks (DSBs) and ATM-dependent signaling pathways.
- Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the SOSS-C family.
- Cellular localizationNucleus. Localizes to nuclear foci following DNA damage.
