Porcine CD3e is a member of the T-cell receptor-associated CD3 complex. It is found on a subpopulation of thymocytes and on all pig T lymphocytes. ab24987 PPT3 is mitogenic when presented to peripheral blood mononuclear cells in immobilized form.

Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated from heparinized pig blood on Ficoll Hypaque density gradients and stained with ab24987 (1 µg/106 cells). Lymphocytes were gated and analyzed on a flow cytometer.
