Anti-CD44 antibody [EPR1013Y] (ab51037)

Thank you for this information. Anti N-cadherin mAb ab51034, which you sent me, showed nice staining for confocal microscopy. AlsoI ordered recently anti integrinVantibody fromAbcam ab16821 and it worked very good. As I told you before the problem with ab51037was for the first time. I do not know actually so farwhat is the reason of that problem.May be I will try the antibody once more. Anyway thank you very much for your help.

I have now received results of ab51037 lot GR55632-1. The retesting results shows the antibody is absolutely fine. I have attached images that clearly show antibody is staining the target at 1/50 - 1/100 dilution.

We tested 4 types of tissue sections Glioma, Endometrial cancer, tonsil (all positive) and brain (negative control). The images are attached.

I am not sure what went wrong with the previous lots we have sent; perhaps yourprotocol needs further optimizations.

Could I ask how well the ab51034 is performing?

I checked new vial of the antibody to stain two glioma cell lines (monolayers of cells fixed with 4% PFA for 30 min) for confocal microscopy. I could not seefluorescence using secondary antibody - goat anti rabbit Alexa-647 (the samesecondary antibody showed strong signal with another rabbit primary antibody).

Lab is now retesting the antibody. Could I ask at what dilution the antibody was used? In our initial QC experiment this antibody gave very nice staining at 1/100-1/250 dilution.
