ab51569 was conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate isomer 1 (FITC). The molecular F/P ratio is between 5 and 10.

Specificity

ab51569 is directed against the CD66acde antigen (molecular mass 180- 200 kDa; phosphoprotein, 90 kDa; PI-linked protein), which is expressed on mature human granulocytes. After granulocyte activation the expression is strongly increased. The antibody reacts with 100% of mature human peripheral granulocytes. It reacts weakly with malignant cells of patients with B cell derived Chronic Lymphoid Leukaemia (CLL). ab51569 does not react with normal human peripheral B cells, T cells, monocytes and platelets.

CD66a, CD66c, CD66d and CD66e are four members of the carcinoembryonic antigen family and are expressed on human neutrophils. In neutrophils these proteins are activation antigens in that their surface expression is increased following stimulation.
