Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab58830 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
WB: Use a concentration of 0.5 - 1 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 30 kDa.
IHC-P: Use a concentration of 1 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
Associates with CD4 or CD8 and delivers costimulatory signals for the TCR/CD3 pathway.
Lymphoid specific.
Belongs to the tetraspanin (TM4SF) family.
Membrane.

Western blot - CD82 antibody (ab58830)

Lane 1 : Anti-CD82 antibody (ab58830) at 0.5 µg/ml
Lane 2 : Anti-CD82 antibody (ab58830) at 1 µg/ml
Lane 1 : A549 cell lysate
Lane 2 : A549 cell lysate
Lysates/proteins at 15 µg per lane.
Predicted band size : 30 kDa
Observed band size : 32 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)-CD82 antibody(ab58830)

IHC image of ab58830 staining in human cervical carcinoma formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section, performed on a Leica BondTM system using the standard protocol F. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution 1) for 20 mins. The section was then incubated with ab58830, 1µg/ml, for 15 mins at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
For other IHC staining systems (automated and non-automated) customers should optimize variable parameters such as antigen retrieval conditions, primary antibody concentration and antibody incubation times.
ab58830 has not yet been referenced specifically in any publications.
