Recommended dilutions
Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution >1:32,000.
IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.3 µg/ml. In paraffin embedded Human Tonsil, strong staining of germinal centre cells and less intense labelling in the interfollicular area.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 50 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 52 kDa).
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Relevance
|
C terminal Src kinase (CSK) is a non receptor protein tyrosine kinase. One of its major functions is to specifically phosphorylate a conserved C terminal tyrosine of Src family kinases thereby down regulating their kinase activity. CSK is expressed ubiquitously as a protein of approximately 50 KDa in cytosol, but a fraction distributes to lipid rafts due to interaction with the lipid raft associated protein PAG (CSK binding protein).
