I have a question about the Immunogen of ab10286. On your website, it says" Immunogen: His-Tag E. coli expressed soluble part of canine calnexin". Is this soluble part from the N-terminal ER luminal domain (461 amino acids)or the C-terminal cytoplasmic tail (89 amino acids)? Which region it is? I want to test ab10286 in plants(Arabidopsis), so I need to make sure the antigen region is conserved. |

ANSWER: |
Thank you for your enquiry. The antibody was raised to the N-terminal ER luminal domain (461 amino acids). I have updated this information on the datasheet for future reference. I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you need anything further. |

ab10286 staining Calnexin in Pig retinal pigment epithelial cells by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunoflurescence). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.5% TX-100 and blocked with 5% serum for 20 minutes at 25ºC. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/500 in 0.1% TX100; 1% goat serum; 1XPBS) for 16 hours at 4ºC. An Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Goat polyclonal to rabbit IgG, dilution 1/500, was used as secondary antibody.
