Question 1

Wednesday 13-June-2007

ab41361 Calpain 10 peptide (Domain III)

Can you please provide the peptide sequence?

ANSWER:

Thank you for your enquiry.

By original sequence alignment of Calpain 10 with other members of the calpain family, the sequence of ab41361 falls entirely in the aminoterminal region of Domain III. More recent analysis of the Calpain 10 sequence places the first half of this peptide product in the carboxy end of the catalytic domain (Domain II) and the second half in the aminoterminal end of Domain III.

We cannot provide the exact peptide sequence because it is proprietary information but I hope the above information helps.
