I would like to know which is a better antibody to use ab38937 or ab28212 for WB? I have used a N-terminal anti-calpain successfully in the past and am concerned the recommended c-terminus anti-calpain is not as good.

Thanks for your inquiry.

Calpains are cleared at the aminoterminal end, so sometimes the amino-specific Antibodies miss the cleaved forms. Either will work for calpain-7, but using the carboxy-specific antibody will let them see both forms.
