Anti-Cdk2 antibody (ab7954)

Hi-- I am looking for a cdk2 antibody (probably a polyclonal) for whole-mount immunofluorescence in Drosophila ovaries. Based on the immunogen (C-term end of peptide, but not sure exactly what residues?), is this antibody (ab7954) predicted to cross-react with the Drosophila protein? Thanks!

I could not find the drosophila CDK2 sequence online so I wasn't able to BLAST the immunogen sequence for you. However, if you have the sequence, I can run the BLAST for you. Generally we say that >85% sequence homology would be expected to cross-react, but we wouldn't guarantee drosophila since it hasn't been specifically tested with ab7954.

I was wondering if your primary antibody to CDK2 (ab7954), was capable of recognizes both the unphosphorylated and phosphorylated forms. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
