Has this antibody been adsorbed against rat IgG?

Thank you for your recent technical service inquiry.

We can not guarantee that this product will not cross react with rat as this has not been tested. In fact, they are close enough that it is possible that they will cross react. Product ab7116, Texas Red Conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Chicken IgG [H&L] [Goat] Minimum Cross Reactivity to Bovine, Goat, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and Sheep Serum Proteins, would provide the least amount of cross reactivity as it has been preadsorbed against rat proteins and showed no reaction with rat serum proteins using IEP testing.
