Anti-Collagen XVII antibody [NC16A-3] (ab79878)

As in previous email I know that we can receive refund or the replacement for product ab79878. That is good news to me and I wander that you can replace this product by the other is LamininV α3 (as we need it earlier).

These product are used in a reseach between us and colleadges in Sidney for skin biopsy. I am contacting to Sidney to get detail code and cat. and lot. of Laminin V α3  but so far I haven't got them yet. 

In general, If that is fine, we would like and hope to be received LamininV α3. And if you don't mind pls. give me advise for a LamininV α3 that suitable for IF staining by indirect method.

We are at first steps to reseach this kind of disease so that may get trouble sometime. It is also the reason that we very much need the help from you and your company. I am very sorry for taking your time. With warmest regard,

We can replace any faulty anybody with another product, provided it too is a primary antibody. Could you please provide the Abcam catalog code number for the product with you would like to replace the
ab79878 Anti-Collagen XVII antibody [NC16A-3] with? Is thisab40487? Ab40487 is not previously tested on IHC and so may not be useful for this application whereas ab79878 is already tested in IHC in human tissue. I realize you are using these antibodies as a diagnostic tool so I just want to remind you that all Abcam’s products are for research use only.

I am contacting to a Lab in Sidney for detail information about some antibodies (I did some IF there last year) and after that will give you detail information about products that we would like to buy and to have for replacement. We would very happy if you could replace ab79878 by a LamininV anpha3 first, then we will buy ab79878 later.

Thank you for fastly answering. I actually perform IF staining for series antibody to mapping leason in Epidermolysis Bullosa disease. Unlucky that problems happened withtwo products from ABcam. Those are LamininV α3 (10B5, ab40487-100, lot 782016) and Bp 180 (coll XVII)(NC 16A-3, ab79878, lot GR12443-4).

Detail technique and protocolis sent you again at attach file. Hope that this time it go through and we can resolve it.

The laminin V alpha 3 antibody, ab40487, has not been previously tested in IHC so it may be that ab40487 is not suitable for use in this application. So in this case I am not able to offer a replacement for this item.
