When using this antibody in IP, how much antibody should be used? How was the antibody tested in IP? Are more details available?

Thank you for your enquiry. After checking with the originator of this antibody, I regret to inform you that ab1868 has not been tested for application in IP. The antibody has only so far been characterized in IHC-formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections.

I have updated the online datasheet to reflect this, and I do apologize for the inconvenience.

I got a detailed protocol from our customer.

Their experimental conditions are as follows.

About storage Storage condition: 4?

About sample Sample Name: Brain section of Human (this section is fixed by formalin and paraffin section.) Method : Microwave (0.01M citric acid buffer)

About blocking condition normal rabbit serum , RT 15min.

About primary antibody Specific: ABC technique, Rabbit Dilution rate: 1:50 Reaction condition: 4degree (overnight)

About sencondary antibody Vector Laboratories: VECTASTAIN system Dilution rate: 1:200 They confirmed this sencondary antibodies work well with other primary antibodies.

About detection method DAB

About control Positive control : tonsil Negative control : none

They has tried IHC several times on the same way,and has got good results. Also,they could stain same sample with anti Synphilin1(Chemicon:#ab5838).
