Has this antibody been tested on other cytochrome P450 enzymes other than IIE1?

The antibody has not been specifically tested with other cytochrome P450 enzymes. It is unknown which enzymes, if any, this would cross-react with other than IIE1.

What type of product can this be? There are at least 15 different P450 enzymes in rat liver. An antibody made to one enzyme can cross-react with several others. The description of this product leaves much to be desired.

ANSWER:

  

This antibody was raised to cytochrome P450 IIE1 purified from rat liver. This enzyme is also referred to as CYP2E1. I am sorry that this information was not included in our data sheet for this product, but I have subsequently added it.
