Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:4,000.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.3 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 53 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 53 kDa).

Relevance

The DCDC2 protein has two doublecortin peptide domains. This domain has been demonstrated to bind tubulin and enhance microtubule polymerization. Mutations in the gene encoding DCDC2 have been associated with Reading Disability (RD), also referred to as developmental dyslexia.
