Relevance

Dact2 is closely related to the frd2/dpr2 sequences identified in zebrafish. Its expression is most prominent during organogenesis of the thymus, kidneys, and salivary glands, with much lower levels in the somites and in the developing CNS. It may be involved in Wnt-mediated development.
