Ich habe nachgefragt ob und wie die Spezifität der folgenden Antikörper getestet wurde:
ab108421:
Dieser Antikörper wurde nicht experimentell auf die Kreuzreaktion mit anderen Trail Rezeptoren getestet. Ich kann allerding bestätigen, dass das Immunogen keine signifikante Homologie mit DcR1 und DcR3 aufweist. Wir können dies allerdings nicht garantieren.
ab2019:
Dieser Antikörper wurde ebenfalls nicht experimentell auf die Kreuzreaktion mit anderen Trail Rezeptoren getestet. Ich kann allerding bestätigen, dass nach einer BLAST-Suche das Immunogen keine signifikante Homologie mit anderen Trail Rezeptoren aufweist. Wir können dies allerdings nicht garantieren.

Die Kreuzreaktivität dieses Antikörpers wurde mittels TRAIL-R2 transfizierten Zellen ausgeschlossen. Es wurden außerdem Zelllinien, die TRAIL-R3 and TRAIL-R4 exprimieren verwendet und so eine Kreuzreaktion ausgeschlossen.

The following article   Leithner K et al. Nuclear and cytoplasmic death receptor 5 as prognostic factors in patients with non-small cell lung cancer treated with chemotherapy. Lung Cancer 65:98-104 (2009). PubMed: 19081160   appears in the references list of ab2019 and according to the images of IHC-P in this article the customer ordered it. In addition to this, the customer is interested in purchasing of Anti-DcR1 that was also used in this article and its IHC-P staining also appear in this article. Unfortunately, no catalog numbers are indicated in the article and in abcam's website not even one Anti-DcR1 antibody is guaranteed for IHC-P of human sections.    Kindly advise and assist with the finding of this particular Anti-DcR1 that was used in the article.

Unfortunately I could not find in our system any order related to DcR1 and this Austrian research group. I would suggest your customer to contact directly the authors of this publication. Sorry I cannot be more helpful on this occasion.
