Anti-ERH antibody (ab54690)

Thank you for your response to my e-mail regarding the faulty ERH antibody Cat#: ab54690.  The answers to your questions are as follows: - In which application the antibody fail e.g. IHC, WB, ICC/IF?  Western Blot - How do you describe the problem no staining, high background etc.  No specific staining at the expected size(See the blot below-we were able to get the expected band when using the Sigma antibody). - At what temperature the antibody was stored? -20°C. -  What were the lysates species and type in case of WB or tissue type and species in case of IHC?  HeLa Cell Nuclear Extract. I writing in reference to an antibody that was purchased by our lab from your company that we have not been able to get to work.  We wanted to know if it would be possible for us to receive a refund for this bad antibody.  We frequently use antibodies from Abcam without any problems (we have purchased more than 10 other Abcam antibodies this year alone), unfortunately this particular antibody has not worked for us.  The information regarding the order for the faulty antibody is below.  Please let me know if you need more information. -ERH Antibody, Cat # AB54690-100, Price $325, Date Purchased 4/28/11, PO# CB193413.
