What the concentration is? What medium it is stored in? What dilution would be used for optimal stain results?

Thank you for your enquiry.

This antibody is supplied as whole antiserum, and as such it does not contain storage buffer. It is not possible to determine antibody concentration, since whole serum contains many other host serum proteins besides the antibody of interest. Antibody concentration is only relevant for purified antibodies.

The recommended dilutions are listed on the online datasheet, I have included a link below.

ELISA: 1/1000 - 1/2000. IHC-Fr: 1/50 - 1/200. IHC-P: 1/50 - 1/200. WB: 1/200 - 1/500. Predicted molecular weight: 68 kDa.

In many cases, antigenicity of elastic fiber components can be enhanced by treating with 6 M guanidine HCl, 50 mM dithiothreitol, 20 mM Tris pH 8.0 for 15 minutes. After washing with 20 mM Tris pH 8.0, the slides are treated with 100 mM iodoacetamide in the dark for 15 minutes, washed and stained using normal protocols.
