Are you able to provide the immunogen sequence for this antibody?

I’m sorry I don’t have any information on the immunogen sequence for ab9774 all we know id that Rat lymphoid tissue homogenate was used to generate the antibody; the exact immunogen sequence is not known.

Also, I have looked at the reference we talked about and I agree this antibody is the most likely candidate, but to be sure I would email the lab that published this paper and ask them for the catalogue number. They should be able to provide you with that information.

I want to ask you if you know of a cell line that I can use as a positive control for ab9774 for immunofluorescence. It should be from rat origin since it only works with rat.

If not possible, I also want to use ab6994 which reacts with human/mouse/rat.

I want to test if some rat cardiac fibroblasts I have isolated are or not contaminated with endothelial cells by immunofluorescence.

Thank you for contacting Abcam.   The lab has confirmed that as the immunogen for ab9774 was a stromal preparation of rat lymph nodes, no sequence is available. However, they did confirm that they could not demonstrate cross-reactivity with either human or mouse.   Unfortunately the only endothelial cell antibody we have in our catalogue that reacts with mouse is ab58821 but it is unsuitable for IHC-P. There is a chance ab15605 may work but it has not been tested in mouse. As ab15605 has not been tested in mouse, I could offer you our testing discount program for this antibody.
