Perform enzymatic antigen retrieval with 20 ug/ml proteinase K before commencing with IHC protocol.
Receptor for members of the ephrin-B family. Binds to ephrin-B2. May have a role in events mediating differentiation and development.
Abundantly expressed in placenta and in a range of primary tissues and malignant cell lines. Expressed in fetal, but not adult, brain, and in primitive and myeloid, but not lymphoid, hematopoietic cells.
Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Tyr protein kinase family. Ephrin receptor subfamily. Contains 2 fibronectin type-III domains. Contains 1 protein kinase domain. Contains 1 SAM (sterile alpha motif) domain.

ab73259 staining the Eph receptor B4 in Mouse lymph node tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-P - paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections). Tissue was fixed with paraformaldehyde and blocked with 10% serum for 1 hour at 20°C; antigen retrieval was not performed. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/100) for 12 hours at 4°C. A Biotin-conjugated Rabbit anti-rat polyclonal (1/200) was used as the secondary antibody.
