What region of the of the FGFR3 receptor does the immunogenic peptide for this antibody come from? Which isoforms will this antibody recognize?

How was the ELISA performed to validate the antibody for this application? Did you use a standard FGFR3?

Regarding anti-FGFR3 antibody ab52247, the peptide immunogen is derived from the extracellular region (amino acid # 140 to 240) of FGFR3 protein, and it is present in all three isoforms of FGFR3. Therefore, the antibody will recognize all three isoforms. The antibody was tested in immunogen-coated ELISA and cell-based ELISA. Briefly, 96-well plates were coated with either peptides or growing cells. Primary antibody, secondary antibody (HRP -labeled) and substrate were applied sequentially for detection purposes. Purified FGFR3 protein was not used as a standard.
