Relevance

FHL2 is a LIM protein, all of which contain a highly conserved double zinc finger motif called the LIM domain. It is thought to be a co-activator of the androgen receptor and a transcription coactivator. FHL2 might enforce beta-catenin transactivation activity in cancer cells and may be downregulated during transformation of a variety of cell types.
