Application notes
(see key)
|
Recommended dilutions ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. P: Use at an assay dependent dilution. This antibody inhibits PT, prothrombinase and partially APTT, but not amidase activity. WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Predicted molecular weight: 55 kDa.
Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Relevance
|
Factor X is activated by the cleavage of the activation peptide by factor IXa (in the intrisic pathway), or by factor VIIa (in the extrinsic pathway). The activated factor then converts prothrombin to thrombin in the presence of factor Va, Ca+2, and phospholipid during blood clotting. Mutations of this gene result in factor X deficiency, a haemorrhagic condition of variable severity.
