Anti-HDAC5 antibody (ab1439)

Could you please tell me what is the HDAC5 epitope against which the HDAC5 antibody (#1439) has been raised?

I can confirm that tghe immunogen for ab1439 was a synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 575 of human HDAC-5.

I also included this information on the datasheet for your information.

Thank you for sending us new anti-HDAC5 antibody. We have tried these antibody several times by two postdocs. This antibody can not recognize HDAC5 protein. Can we talk refund or order other antibody using this refund?

I'm not sure if a phospho-specific antibody is available, but to see if another company has one, you can click on the link to "The World's Antibody Gateway". The World's Antibody Gateway is a free search engine service provided by Abcam to help you to quickly find the antibodies that you are looking for. It is a free-text search engine developed by the Abcam team so that it searches the catalogues of all online antibody companies (currently 249).
