Thank you very much for your interest. Yes, delivery adress is still the same as you have in your email.
Below is my phone number just in the case you need.

ANSWER:

Question 2

Wednesday 02-May-2012

I am emailing regarding order #1077900.

I have been using the Hif1 alpha antibody (ab1) for a few years (optimised for IHC-P) and I have been sent an antibody which had had its storage conditions & concentration changed without any notification. Now in the middle of a project I am going to have to re-optimise the antibody and re-stain hundreds of slides. This is not cost and time efficient and completely unacceptable.

Can you explain why this change has happened and how you will rectify the problem?

Regards

ANSWER:

Thank you for your message.

I am sincerely sorry to hear the change in concentration and conditions have caused inconvenience.

I have reviewed this with our laboratories to find out why this change has been made: Although we produce many antibodies in house at Abcam, we also source a lot of them. We used to obtain this antibody clone from a supplier. We now license the hybridoma directly from the licensor, grow the hybridoma and produce the same antibody clone here at Abcam. Therefore, the storage conditions and some of the recommended testing conditions may have changed.

We would recommend to follow storage instructions on the datasheet for all individual antibodies. The dilution required for different application listed on teh datashet are a guideline only and may require some optimization.

As a gesture of goodwill, I would be pleased to provide you with a 5% discount of your next order for 1 vial of primary antibody. The code is: NO-PORTO-T7T61.

I hope this will be helpful. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks for your kindly reply; this customer has not yet to decide the free of replacement,

therefore, could you please help this customer to create a credit note?

Thanks for your kindly help

ANSWER:

Thank you for your note.

This is to let you know that I have just contacted and asked our Account Department to raise a credit note for you - for the cost of one vial of ab1. For your information, the internal reference note for this credit is CN20539. You can use this credit in the near future for any of the products which are in the catalogue.

I hope this helps and if I can assist further, please do not hesitate to contact me.
