Question 1

Tuesday 28-February-2006

I have used the HLA-E Ab MEM-E/07 (ab11820) for a work. The referees of my manuscript ask me to add a reference (published results) to clarify the specificity of the HLA-E Ab MEM-E/07 (ab11820). Can you help me.

ANSWER:

I am pleased to be able to provide you with two references:

Sibilio L. et al., Tissue Antigens 62, 339, 2003. (Abstract 45 from the 3rd Int. Conference on HLA-G, Paris, July 2003).

Palmisano GL et al. HLA-E surface expression is independent of the availability of HLA class I signal sequence-derived peptides in human tumor cell lines. Hum Immunol 66:1-12 (2005). PubMed: 15620456

If you would like the pdf of the Palmisano paper I can send it to you.

I hope this will help you and wish you all the best with your paper. Could you please let us know when you have published it so we can add your reference to the antibody's datasheet, and/or consider submitting an Abreview with your experience of the antibody (we reward Abreviews with points which you can use for future discounts and gifts)?
