Recommended dilutions
IP: Use at an assay dependent dilution (Reported to immunoprecipitate Hck from 1-2 x 10 7 THP-1 monocytic cells lysed in RIPA)
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 59 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 59 kDa). Weakly recognizes a band at 85kD.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

|
Isoform p60-HCK and isoform p59-HCK are associated with membranes. Isoform p60-HCK is also cytoplasmic.

Relevance
|
HCK is a tyrosine kinase that is predominantly expressed in hemopoietic cell types. It may help couple the Fc receptor to the activation of the respiratory burst. In addition, it may play a role in neutrophil migration and in the degranulation of neutrophils.
