Question 1

Thursday 01-March-2007

Thank you for your answer. I received additional enquiries from the customer.

1. Can you inform us of the temperature of antigen retrieval solution at 2nd part of the procedure shown on the web? 2. Can you inform us of an appropriate time of heating using Copin jar/autoclave? 3. Please let us know if an expiration date is set for ab972.

Again, thank you for your assistance.

ANSWER:

Thank you for your enquiry. Our QC procedure is to heat the Borg up to 125 degrees for 30 second and then cool down to 90 degrees. This procedure takes place in our pressure cooker. The entire process takes 35 minutes. We have not tried it in an autoclave, but it should work and I would use the above temperature and pressure as a guideline.

We would expect the product to be sable for up to one year from the time of purchase if stored correctly.
