Does this antibody recognize 1A and 1B genotypes?

Thank you for your enquiry.

Ab19969, antibody to HCV NS-4a (amino acids 1700-1710), was developed using a recombinant antigen using the genotype 1b sequence. This antibody has been tested and is reactive with genotype 1b. We have not tested this antibody with genotype 1a samples, but the 1700-1710 amino acid sequence is identical between genotype 1a and 1b.
