Applications

Show applications key

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab55232 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application notes

WB: Use at a concentration of 1-5 µg/ml.

This antibody has only been tested in WB against the recombinant fragment used as immunogen. We have no data on the detection of endogenous protein.

Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Target

Relevance

Histidine ammonia-lyase is a cytosolic enzyme catalyzing the first reaction in histidine catabolism, the nonoxidative deamination of L-histidine to trans-urocanic acid. Histidine ammonia-lyase defects cause histidinemia, which is characterized by increased histidine and histamine and decreased urocanic acid in body fluids. The eukaryotic enzyme, histidase (L-histidine ammonia-lyase) is a particularly apt model for the study of the control of gene expression at the molecular level during differentiation and subsequent development of tissues and endocrine regulation.
