HSP70 protein from HeLa cells.
Heat shock proteins (HSP's) or stress response proteins (SRP's) are synthesized in variety of environmental and pathophysiological stressful conditions. Many HSP's are involved in processes such as protein denaturation-renaturation, folding-unfolding, transport-translocation, activation-inactivation, and secretion. HSP70 is found to be associated with steroid receptors,actin, p53, polyoma T antigen, nucleotides, and other unknown proteins. Also, HSP70 has been shown to be involved in protective roles against thermal stress, cytotoxic drugs, and other damaging conditions.

|IHC-P||Use a concentration of 2 - 4 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
For 30 min at RT. Boil tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
|IP||Use at 2 µg/mg of lysate.
Native and denatured.
|WB||Use a concentration of 0.5 - 1 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 70 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 70 kDa).
For 2hrs at RT. This antibody detects a band of 73 kDa (constitutive), 72 kDa (inducible).
