Nos anticorps anti hMFG1 sont des anticorps monoclonaux contre la protéine totale hMFG1, et nous ne savons pas ou se situe l'épitope. Cependant, j'ai effectué une recherche d'homologie entre les formes 1 et 8 et vous trouverez en attachement les résultats de celle-ci. La forme hMFG1 est composée de 335 acides aminés, la forme hMFG8 de ces même 335 acides aminés, plus une partie non homologue, ce qui forme au total une protéine de 387 acides aminés. Comme les anticorps monoclonaux sont en fait contre une partie identique aux deux protéines, nous pouvons prédire qu'ils réagiront également contre hMFG8. Comme cela n'a pas été testé je ne peux pas vous le garantir, mais j'espère que ces données vous aiderons dans votre recherche. |

Your antibody #AB2537 is noted to be specific for '40-45 kDa glycoprotein in human milk fat globule membrane preparation'. Does this mean it will detect SEVERAL glycoproteins in that MW-range, or does it detect only one SINGLE band/protein? |

Thank you for your enquiry and your patience. We do not know if it is due to glycosylation pattern of a single holoprotein or the antibody detects several proteins in that range. The WB image shows results in typical glycoprotein "smear" band of the indicated size. |
