Nos anticorps anti hMFG1 sont des anticorps monoclonaux contre la protéine totale hMFG1, et nous ne savons pas ou se situe l'épitope. Cependant, j'ai effectué une recherche d'homologie entre les formes 1 et 8 et vous trouverez en attachement les résultats de celle-ci. La forme hMFG1 est composée de 335 acides aminés, la forme hMFG8 de ces même 335 acides aminés, plus une partie non homologue, ce qui forme au total une protéine de 387 acides aminés. Comme les anticorps monoclonaux sont en fait contre une partie identique aux deux protéines, nous pouvons prédire qu'ils réagiront également contre hMFG8. Comme cela n'a pas été testé je ne peux pas vous le garantir, mais j'espère que ces données vous aiderons dans votre recherche.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing an anti-lactadherin antibody suitable to carry out immunohistochemistry, but the antibody you supply ab17787 binds to an unknown human milk fat globule antigen. This is as it is raised against delipidated HMFG membrane. I wondered therefore if it would be possible for you to let me have a small quantity free of charge so that I could determine whether it does bind to lactadherin by western blot, as I could not afford to purchase an antibody that proved tot to bind.
