I did apply the initial code you gave me to the order but a customer service representative called me directly and said that it couldn't be applied PRIOR to an order and must be used for a subsequent order. This is not very professional if your customer service representatives tell me one thing and you tell me another. I am quite dissappointed in the way Abcam conducted this.

I am sorry for the confusion which happened because you have used different thread of my email which was related to offer of discount code rather than the actual discount email.

I have now checked all the email conversations we had and can confirm that after submitting an Abreview for flow cytometry you will be able to get an antibody free of charge. Please write the discount code in the additional comment box of Abreview and in additional info box on the order form while ordering the new free of charge antibody.

You can still get lots of abpoints for all these applications on top of free antibody so keep submitting Abreviews.

I have had a chanve to use the ab75872 antibody for flow as well as IHC-P and for WB. I found as others have that it works well for IHC-P and for WBs but does not work well for flow cytometry. The email response from you suggested I test it for flow and I am now ready to write an abreview. Do I receive the discount code for my next antibody purchase after I write the review or can I receive it now?

Unfortunately the discount code could not be issued in this case. It is mentioned in my email the discount code should be issued before the purchase of antibody. I have confirmed that the antibody ab75872  is raised against the C-terminus of isoform beta 3a. The immunogen is within the range aa 763 - 788. If you have the amino acid sequence of isoform alpha-V, I will be happy to align it with the beta 3a range, which will allow us to assess the potential for cross-reactivity with alpha V. To our knowledge, there is no data that demonstrates cross-reactivity with other isoforms.

I will need to ask the developer of this clone to confirm but it appears to be raised against the C terminus of integrin beta 3, isoform beta a, based on the specificity note on the datasheet:

"ab75872 detects Integrin beta 3A. It does not detect Integrin beta 3B or Integrin beta 3C".

Do you have the amino acid sequence for isoform alpha V? To assess potential cross-reactivity of the antibody with this isoform, we will need to align the isoform sequence with that of the immunogen. Do you mean integrin alpha V? Here is a link to the UniProt page for integrin alpha V:
